ASL Interpreted Library Event – September 19th, 7:00-8:30pm, Make your home a home for a lifetime
The Barrie Public Library offers free programming to the public. In an effort to be accessible to our community, they have offered interpreting services for any event/workshop they host. In partnership with our CSS staff the library has pre-selected and booked an interpreter for upcoming workshops. Should you be interested in attending the following workshop, please contact Deaf Access to confirm you will be going. *Deadline to RSVP is one week before the event date. If no community members have sent an RSVP for the event, the interpreter will be cancelled.

Make Your House a Home for a Lifetime
Location: Massie Family Program Room
Topic: Christy Skelly, Navigator at the Accessibility Resource Centre – Independent Living Services of Simcoe County & Area, will lead this 1 hour session geared to those who wish to stay in their present home for longer or those who are thinking of buying or building a new home to suit their needs as they age. There will be discussions on design and modifications needed for now and more importantly for the future. Free.
