Youth Employment Outreach
Our services are available to students who are currently experiencing barriers in their current educational setting or who are close to high school graduation and will either be pursuing work opportunities or post-secondary education. Our goal is to be a supportive presence in the students’ lives and for those within their network of support, including families, school staff and community partners. With an increase in advocacy training with students, a clearer communication line with employers and post-secondary institutions as well as increased support; culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing youth will experience an increase in equal opportunities in our communities. We are not looking to duplicate service but instead provide support to our community partners, help enhance current programs and fill in gaps that currently exist. There is no charge for these services.
I look forward to working together in potential partnership with you.
