27 Apr Zoo Day – Saturday June 17, 2017 – Get your tickets today!
Deaf Access Simcoe Muskoka and Ontario Hands & Voices are thrilled to once again be hosting a Day Celebrating Deaf and Hard of Hearing Families and Friends at the Elmvale Jungle Zoo!
Join us on Saturday June 17th, 2017 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Zoo Day is an opportunity for families with Deaf and Hard of Hearing kids, moms, dads, siblings, cousins, grandparents, neighbours, and friends to come together and enjoy all that the zoo has to offer. Explore the Zoo’s 25 acre park along shaded winding trails, get hands-on with the animals in the petting zoo, stop at the gift shop and pick up some food for the monkeys and giraffes, and learn all about the jungle cats and other species.
Enjoy interpreted interactive live animal shows throughout the day.
Tickets are available for purchase at a discounted rate up until Thursday June 15, 2017. Tickets can be purchased using the PayPal link below or at any of the Deaf Access offices. The option of having tickets mailed to you will be available for an additional cost until Sunday June 11th, 2017. Tickets purchased online will be available for pick-up at the Zoo gates the morning of the event, between 9:30 am and 10:30 am, with a copy of your confirmation email.
A portion of every ticket purchased in advance through Deaf Access will be donated back to support our Family, Child and Youth programs.
Please note: Pre-purchased tickets will not be left at the gate after 10:30 am as staff are needed elsewhere in the zoo. Discounted tickets will not be available for purchase the day of the event. Those purchasing tickets at the gate will pay regular admission price.
