WHAT TO DO WHEN THE SUMMER IS THROUGH?
Our September Children’s Rec. Program is a trip to the Elmvale Jungle Zoo!
Kids will enjoy getting up close with the animals along the zoo’s winding trails. Learn about the habitats and behaviours of some of the members of the zoo’s animal family at the Zoo Show, dance and sing with the cockatoo and have a chance to let one of the giraffes eat out of the palm of your hand.
Moms, Dads, siblings and extended family members are welcome to join us. Kids ages 8 and up may take part in the visit under the supervision of Deaf Access staff.
When: Saturday September 14, 2019
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Meet at the Picnic Pavilion at 12:00 pm to enjoy a picnic lunch together. Bring your own lunch or buy lunch at the Zoo Snack Bar (cash only). Please do not bring outside food for the animals…safe feed will be given to each child by Deaf Access.

Tickets available the day of, at the Zoo gates:
Children (3-12) – $12.95
Adults (13+) – $19.95
Seniors (60+) – $17.95
Infants and Toddlers 2yrs and under – Free
The zoo is a peanut and smoke free facility. Gates open at 10:00 am.
For the safety of animals and guests, the Elmvale Jungle Zoo closes in the case of severe weather. Please be sure the check your email or the Deaf Access Facebook page on the morning of the event if the weather is questionable. We will post a notice of any cancellation and notify all families that have RSVP’d.

sure to have animal feed for each child attending
